Continua la striscia di risultati positivi per l’azzurro Rodolphe Von Berg che nel triathlon olimpico no draft della serie statunitense 5i50 disputatosi a Philadelphia si piazza al terzo posto, dietro a campioni del calibro di Cameron Dye, vincitore, e Andy Potts, secondo con soli 12″ di vantaggio sul nostro alfiere. Tra le donne, vittoria per Alicia Kaye davanti a Sara McLarty e Laurel Wassner.
RODOLPHE VON BERG: Happy with my form in Trirock Philadelphia with a 3rd place behind Cam Dye and Andy Potts! I exited the swim pretty close about 25″ away from them. I could see them not too far in front but Cam was definitely pulling away. I stayed solid throughout the beautiful and fun 40km course to come off the bike with a small gap behind Andy Potts and Mark Bowstead. I gave it all on the run and managed to catch Mark, and finished 12″ behind Andy!
