Tropical North Queensland just became hotter as the new home of the IRONMAN Asia-Pacific Championship. IRONMAN Cairns will become the official Asia-Pacific Championship for the next three years. It will become one of the sport’s five regional championship races joining the IRONMAN African Championship in South Africa; IRONMAN North American Championship at Texas, USA; IRONMAN South American Championship in Florianopolis, Brazil and IRONMAN Europe Championship at Frankfurt, Germany.
