La tappa finale della Super League Triathlon Championship Series si disputa sabato 21 ottobre, con diretta dalle 13.00 (ore italiane) e tanti campioni al via.
In palio un montepremi totale di 300.000 dollari, tra gli uomini vedremo i favoriti saranno Hayden Wilde, Henri Schoeman, Matthew Hauser, Kristian Blummenfelt, Léo Bergere, Alex Yee e Jonathan Brownlee.
In campo femminile invece, Cassandre Beaugrand, Léonie Périault, Emma Lombardi, Jeanne Lehair, Fanni Szalai, Taylor Spivey, Sophie Coldwell, Kate Waugh, con anche le nostre Verena Steinhauser e Alice Betto.
La formula sulla quale si sfideranno sarà quella dell’Enduro, cioè la ripetizione per tre volte senza soluzione di continuità di un triathlon composto da 0.300 metri di nuoto, 4K di bici e 1.2K di corsa (i triatleti che accumulerano più di 90 secondi di distacco dal leader al termine di ogni singola frazione saranno eliminati).

Super League Triathlon creates another piece of history this weekend as it notches up its 30th professional event.
The Grand Final of the 2023 Championship Series in NEOM will be another milestone for SLT, who have reshaped the pro triathlon landscape with its thrilling formats and action packed events.
Super League was born in 2017, the brainchild of Michael D’hulst, Leonid Boguslavsky and Chris McCormack, and after a successful test event in Hamilton Island started its rapid expansion.
Leonid Boguslavsky, Chairman and Co-Founder of Super League Triathlon, said: “Super League Triathlon is playing a pivotal role in inspiring and entertaining a new generation of triathlon fans and participants.
